Star is one of the latest creations in the Tema e Variazioni series, dedicated by Fornasetti to the face of Lina Cavalieri. On one side of the candle she looks modest with a simple star, but as you flip the candle you are faced with a bold version of Lina. Here she is sticking her tongue out at you, embellished with a tongue ring, yet still bearing the same star on her eye. Two versions of the same woman.

The decoration of this scented candle adorns a ceramic container that holds natural wax with the sophisticated scent of the fragrance Otto, a blend of Mediterranean herbs, woods, and incense.

Any minor discrepancies between similar creations are the result of craftsmanship and attest to the uniqueness of each product.

Care: Center and straighten the wick after blowing out your candle. Burn candles in a well-ventilated room. Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings, matches, and debris. Keep burning candles away from drafts, vents, fans, or air currents. Before re-lighting a candle, let the candle cool completely. Burn regular-sized candles for 3-4 hours at a time. Burn candles in an ambient of 65-75° F. When burning multiple candles, place at least 8 inches apart. If a candle is burning unevenly and the wick is centered, it’s in a draft.
