Annie designed the Annieglass Judaica Seder Plate - Platinum in honor of the Passover Seder, a Jewish ritual feast marking the beginning of Passover, in which friends and family gather around a beautifully set Seder table. Traditional stories are told, wine is enjoyed, and all partake in symbolic foods placed on the Passover Seder Plate.

The Annieglass Judaica Seder Plate puts an elegant twist on the traditional Passover with its beautiful, hand-painted Hebrew lettering and genuine platinum rim.

Each compartment is labeled for the traditional food meant to be placed inside.

This piece is made using the signature Annieglass slumped technique, which consists of heating sheets of hand-painted glass over ceramic molds. The glass is fired at such high temperatures, the precious metals in the paint are fused to the glass, making them tarnish- and chip-resistant.

The Annieglass Seder Plate will last a lifetime of tradition. Makes for a remarkable Jewish wedding gift or Hanukkah gift.

Care: Handwash only.

Important Notice About Annieglass & Imperfections: During the kiln firing process, as the glass heats up, it stretches and slumps to take the shape of the handmade ceramic mold. Since gold and platinum are precious metals, they do not stretch like glass and may pull apart, creating a crackled effect on the finished glassware. This is one of the reasons that each piece of Annieglass is unique and speaks to Annie’s belief in the Japanese philosophy of wabi-sabi—in which asymmetry and “imperfection” are viewed as beautiful. Once the glassware is removed from the kiln, the precious metals are set and fused into the glass, meaning the metals will not peel off or continue to pull apart for the duration of the glassware’s lifetime.
